VO Europe’s design team created a lot of digital visuals for the Forum, and they wanted to present this content in an engaging and eye-catching way at the venue entrance. Their request: a screen arrangement that would not only stand out architecturally but also present the visuals with a sense of movement and interaction.
We were excited to join forces and help translate their creative direction into a physical and technical installation. Together, we brainstormed a unique structure of screens and explored how to bring the provided visuals to life using a parallax effect – a technique where foreground and background layers move at different speeds to create depth and visual intrigue.
Our team focused on designing a stable and modular screen setup, which was carefully modelled in a 3D environment. Once the physical structure was developed, we worked closely with VO Europe’s designers to ensure the visuals would be displayed exactly as intended.
The result? A high-impact parallax animation that presented compelling data insights and thought-provoking questions such as “Which skills are essential for the workforce of tomorrow?” – all prominently featured at the Forum entrance.
And ta-dah, the screen arrangement in all its glory with content in a pleasant parallax effect, looked as follows:
Of course, at nocomputer we are pleased with the end result, but the construction itself didn't come together in the blink of an eye. We were fully involved in all phases of the process:
The installation:
The setup:
The content programming:
The dismantling. Okay, no photos were taken of this, but believe us: that’s because we were too busy leaving everything neat and tidy.
What began as a request to display digital content became a truly collaborative effort between VO Europe and nocomputer – one that definitely drew attention. We’re proud to have played a role in making the event an even more immersive experience, and to have brought VO Europe’s creative vision to life.
